The recipient has encountered a few health issues, that lead to another hospital stay in ICU...I hear he is recovering well... I don't know what of them were connected to the transplant.. The kidney has continued to function well for him.

15 Days Post Op
Christmas Day... It's been 15 days.. I would say the recovery has gone very well.. My back pain has become very minimal,Thank God.. I have had some amazing support from my friends and family.. Beautiful flowers made my house smell delightful.. I started driving at Day 10... No problems! I actually drove to Enid(1.5 hrs) on Sunday(day 13) and returned home the same evening... I still felt pretty good.. I'm still forcing myself to take it easy.. I go for my checkup with Dr.Samara on Thurs the 27th. To be released for work... I am to return on the 31st... Then life will be back to normal..
